Building in Bellinzona

The combination of KESMON’s skill and experience with an innovative, creative company such as Ristogest made it possible to create a meeting place that has become an icon of fast dining, set within a solid and versatile structure.

Canopies for the intermodal hub in Bellinzona

KESMON’s experience and flexibility were clearly demonstrated in the construction and installation of the canopies for the new “Intermodal Hub – Bellinzona SBB Station”. Distinctive architectural choices, such as the three slender supporting columns and the mirror finish, give these large canopies a light, almost dreamlike appearance while perfectly fulfilling their role of protecting passengers moving between bus and train.

Removable bridge

In the Airolo area, KESMON supplied and installed an unconventional bridge. The steel structure rests on its concrete supports but can be removed when there is a risk of flooding or avalanches.

Nursing home in Malcantone

The project for the nursing home in Caslano, designed by architect Silvia Barrera Meili, was selected not only for its clear aesthetic qualities, but also for its original and functional layout. KESMON is proud to have contributed to the construction of this two-storey structure, remarkable in size at over one hundred metres long and twenty metres wide.

Façades

KESMON also demonstrates its expertise and skill in the field of façade cladding, particularly ventilated façades. The use of innovative and unusual materials represents an interesting challenge.

SBB station in Mendrisio

With its usual expertise and skill, KESMON also manufactured and installed these canopies, which contribute to the commercial, industrial and cultural development of the town of Mendrisio.

Industrial buildings

Mikron Tools chose KESMON for the construction of its new industrial hall — with good reason, as the completed project fully meets the client’s expectations.

Extension of the schools in Viganello

The “Fil Rouge” project by the architecture studio Inches Geleta Architetti was completed with KESMON’s contribution: KESMON built the vertical extension of the existing school building to create a new canteen and manufactured and installed the cladding for the new stair and lift tower.

SBB – Sant’Antonino station

KESMON also manufactured and installed these canopies. The result is excellent from both a technical and an aesthetic point of view.

Flexible barriers and fencing

Another example of how KESMON takes care of every detail: a pedestrian gate, fencing mesh and road barrier come together and integrate perfectly, combining practicality with road safety.
